FIREWORKS and Baseball Celebrate Nation’s Birthday!

Palm Springs, CA – Palm Springs POWER host the Novato Knicks this 4th of July.  The game will begin at 6:05 p.m., gates will open for guest arrival at 5:00 p.m. (AN HOUR EARLIER THAN NORMAL!) and the Fireworks celebration will begin at 9:15pm.

Come celebrate America’s birthday with America’s favorite past-time. The Fireworks celebration is confirmed and will start at 9:15 p.m. following the game. Not to be outdone by the fireworks in the sky, the POWER are packing their own firepower and are winning games at record pace and in every fashion. Great baseball and good affordable fun is awaits fans at Palm Springs Stadium this fourth of July holiday.

“I’m thrilled that the city of Palm Springs and the POWER were able to find a way to keep this great tradition alive,” said POWER Owner and President Andrew Starke said. “There’s no better way to enjoy this great country of ours than with the greatest sport. The fans deserve a place to celebrate and enjoy a ball game, the fireworks add to an already exciting weekend of competitive baseball. We love having the best venue in town for such a great event and look forward to hosting many more 4th of July celebrations in the future.”

Several local businesses will also have booths set up at Palm Springs Stadium and will have food available for purchase.  These businesses include Fatburger, Juice It Up, Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice, and Crazy Cone.

For those wishing to celebrate an All-American 4th of July, general admission tickets cost just $7.00 and student/senior tickets are only $6.00.  A POWER ticket, which includes hotdog, soda, and ice cream, costs $10.00 with tickets for the Bud Light Lime VIP Lounge also available. After 8:00 p.m. admission will be granted to those wanting to catch the fireworks but not the ball game.

The Palm Springs POWER Baseball Club recruits elite collegiate players from around the country to play in Palm Springs for the months of June and July. The POWER organization strives to provide affordable entertainment as well as quality baseball for the residents of the Coachella Valley.
